The fungus Auricularia auricula judae

The taxonomic name Auricularia means "ear" and auricula-judae means "ear of Judas". In China it was already cultivated in the Tang dynasty (618-907) according to Li Shih Chen in his treatise Pen Tsao Kang Mu. It can be found dry in specialized stores and when it is soaked again it takes on its gelatinous consistency. Precisely because of this characteristic it is also called "gelatinous fungus". In TCM, it was a mushroom used for the management of colds, fevers, to reduce body heat and swelling, to stop bleeding, particularly uterine bleeding, and is described as providing cardiovascular support, both central as peripheral. It is also very useful for improving peripheral venous insufficiency and for the prevention and management of hemorrhoids. Its gelatinous consistency favors bile excretion and increases fecal volume, regularizing intestinal transit and improving states of non-persistent constipation (incomplete emptying and intestinal irregularity).

How to take auricular micotherapy?

It is recommended to take 3 capsules a day, preferably away from meals.
