D-Mannose

Description

D-mannose is a simple, pleasant-tasting sugar, structurally related to glucose, similar in structure to glucose, but with different properties and functions. These are some of its key properties:

Non-stick properties: Dmannose has been found to have non-stick properties, which means it can prevent bacteria from sticking to the lining of the urinary tract. This makes it useful in the prevention and treatment of cystitis.

In the urinary system: D-Mannose binds strongly to the fimbriae (pili) of E. coli and thus manages to deactivate the adhesive capabilities of this bacterium. d-Mannose does not harm E. coli bacteria, but it does manage to keep it out of the urinary tract. In summary, D-mannose hinders the adhesion of E. coli to the bladder epithelium and favors its elimination.

How to take D-Mannose?

Take ¾ tablespoon of coffee a day (1.6 g), mixed with food, drink or water.
