Vitamin D regulates the expression of Gla proteins, the activation of which depends on the carboxylation induced by vitamin K.

Vitamin K is involved in the carboxylation processes of Gla proteins, such as the Gla protein of the vascular matrix. The Gla protein inhibits calcification in the arteries and other tissues, this explains its importance in the maintenance of cardiovascular health.

Composition of Vitamin D3 + K2

Bulking agent (microcrystalline cellulose), capsule material (vegetable cellulose), anti-caking agent (magnesium stearate), vitamin K2 (menaquinone MK-7), purified water, vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol, from lanolin).
