The copaiba is a non-thorny tree native to South America, of the Fabaceae family. Named Copaïba by the indigenous people of Amazonia, the latter use the oleoresin exuded from its trunk to treat wounds and ulcers. Oleoresin is called copaiba balsam and contains a large proportion of aromatic molecules. The steam distillation of this resin allows obtaining a copaiba essential oil with a molecular composition of the most unique, since it is the essential oil with the highest concentration of caryophyllene (up to 88%). Copaiba balsam is used in refined perfumery. Its balsamic and woody scents are used to reinforce oriental or woody-scented accords. Its relaxing and earthy fragrance, combined with orange and mandarin, provides balance and harmony.

How to take Copaiba Balsam essential oil?

For orally: To treat infectious problems, such as digestive and urinary tract.

For external use : For relaxing massages and massaging affected areas. Avoid mucous membranes and the eye area.

Mix 3 to 6 drops of essential oil in a teaspoon (5ml) of jojoba vegetable oil.

Precautions

Avoid contact with the eyes. Do not use on damaged skin. Do not use in case of allergy to any of the components. Keep out of the reach of small children. Do not use during pregnancy, lactation or in children under 7 years of age. Keep away from all sources of heat and light.
