Description

Ocuprotect retina is a food supplement focused on eye health. It has an exclusive formula designed to complement the daily needs of certain nutrients : Omega-3 fatty acids (DHA) from NKO Krill Oil and fish oil; Saffron extract (Affron EYE), rich in carotenoids (crocin), carotenoids (lutein, zeaxanthin, astaxanthin and beta-carotene) Minerals (chromium, zinc and copper) and Vitamin E.

Properties and benefits of Ocuprotect retina

Carotenoids or vitamin E, minerals such as zinc, chromium and copper or nutrients such as omega 3 fatty acids (DHA and EPA) which are structural components, are necessary to maintain eye health and help the eyes defend themselves from the effects of ocular stress and changes produced by age.

Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) contributes to the maintenance of vision under normal conditions. This beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 250 mg of DHA.

• The DHA and EPA from NKO Krill Oil are in the form of phospholipids, which allows a better incorporation of omega-3 in various organs, such as the eyes.

Saffron (Crocus sativus L.) is well known as a condiment, the use of which is universally extended and highly appreciated. Its stigmas contain a high concentration of crocin, a carotenoid responsible for its characteristic reddish color.

• Affron EYE is an extract of saffron stigmas standardized to 3% crocin, designed for eye health.

OcuProtect Retina contains lutein, zeaxanthin, astaxanthin and beta-carotene.

• Carotenoids are organic pigments found in plants and other organisms such as microalgae, where they have the role of participating in energy transfer or protecting them from oxidation.

Minerals and Vitamins

• Like the rest of the ingredients in the formula, minerals such as zinc, chromium and copper, and vitamin E, are nutrients that contribute to a good state of health, helping to defend ourselves against the effects of eye stress and the changes produced by age.
  In addition, vitamin E, copper and zinc contribute to the protection of cells against oxidative damage.

How to take Ocuprotect retina?

It is recommended to take 1 pearl or follow the recommendations of an expert.

NKO Krill Oil (300 mg) and Fish Oil (219.34 mg) that provide EPA (62.4 mg) and DHA (127.67 mg), FloraGLO Tagetes erecta Extract (30 mg) standardized in: Lutein to 20% (6 mg) and Zeaxanthin 1.5% (0.45 mg), Saffron Extract (Crocus sativus) Affron EYE (20 mg) standardized to: Crocin 3% (0.60 mg), Zinc, L -OptiZinc® (mono L-methionine zinc sulfate) (1.5 mg), Chromium, NutraFeast (chromium-enriched yeast) (6 µg), Vitamin E (D-alpha-tocopherol) (1.8 mg), Astaxanthin, total content of AstaReal and NKO Krill Oil (1 mg), Betacarotene, Betatene (0.72 mg), Retinol Equivalents (which provides vitamin A) (120 µg), Copper (copper gluconate) (0.15 mg).
