NPD1-1000 Celavista contains Doconexento (semisynthetic triglyceride DHA), the only polyunsaturated fatty acid (n-3 PUFA) with 6 double bonds and a relevant role in membrane structure and function, cell communication and signaling mechanisms, expression genes and the production of lipid mediators. Beyond the benefits provided by the presence of DHA in the cell membranes of different tissues, especially the retina, gametes and the brain, the focus has been placed on its enzymatic derivatives called docosanoids. The synthesis of these docosanoids (derived exclusively from DHA catabolism) is mediated by different enzymes, mainly cyclooxygenases and lipoxygenases, which act on DHA and transform it into resolvins, protectins and maresins, etc...
How to take Npd1 1000mg omega-3 for the immune system?
It is recommended for:
- Children between 6 and 12 years old: 2 capsules daily together at any time of the day for 15 days and continue with 1 capsule daily until completing at least 3 months of use.
- Over 12 years and adults up to 60 years: 3 capsules daily (2-0-1) for 15 days and continue with 2 capsules daily together at any time of the day, until completing at least 3 months of use.
- Adults over 60 years of age: 2 capsules daily together at any time of the day for 15 days and continue with 1 capsules daily at any time of the day until completing at least 3 months of use.
If there are problems swallowing the capsule, it can be opened and the contents poured into milk, yogurt, dairy products, fatty foods, etc.
It can be consumed continuously (chronic use).
