It is an oil with an abundance of essential polyunsaturated fatty acids, especially the fatty acid Omega 6 – GLA (gamma-linolenic acid). One of its most notable properties is its beneficial activity in premenstrual syndrome, as there is an important relationship between the function of estrogens and the regulation of fats.
