Description

Cholesterol from Naturtierra is a food supplement that helps control cholesterol levels through the action of berberine and fermented red rice yeast.

Indication

Cholesterol is one of the most important health problems in our society:

• Common condition in our society.
• Cause: internal regulation deficit between cholesterol intake and internal synthesis in the liver, in which more is produced than is needed.
• It implies cardiovascular risk.
• Usual drug: statins : inhibits the enzyme that controls the rate of hepatic synthesis of cholesterol and triglycerides.

This supplement acts on two levels of control:

• It lowers plasma cholesterol levels by inhibiting its endogenous synthesis in the liver thanks to the high content (5%) of Monacolin in fermented Red Rice, thus regulating cholesterol production (inhibits the same enzyme as statins). Monacolin K from red yeast rice helps maintain normal blood cholesterol levels.

• Reduces the oxidation of LDL cholesterol (or bad cholesterol) before it oxidizes and becomes a cardiovascular risk factor thanks to the high content of polyphenols with powerful antioxidant power of hydroxytyrosol (15%) from the olive tree.

Does NOT contain citrinin : mycotoxin from fermented red rice yeast.

Intake mode

Take 1 capsule with dinner or at bedtime.

Precautions

Do not exceed the expressly recommended daily dose. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. Keep out of the reach of children. The daily consumption of monacolins from fermented red yeast rice should be less than 3 mg. Its use is not recommended together with other products that contain monacolins from fermented red yeast rice, nor together with medication to reduce cholesterol. It should not be consumed by pregnant or lactating women, children and adolescents under 18 years of age, or adults over 70 years of age. If you experience any health problems, consult your doctor about the consumption of this product.
