It incorporates a lid with a folding handle, clip closures and also folding handles. It is especially appropriate to be used as a rice cooker, since it has an inner container with marks that indicate the water level and the amount of rice to put. However, the outer pot can also be used separately for cooking other dishes, boiling water, steaming, sautéing vegetables, etc.

At Conasi we chose this pot mainly for its total absence of toxicity, thanks to the titanium it is made of. It does not contain any other material, heavy metals or plastics in any of its parts:

Intake mode

The titanium pot can be used as a pot, frying pan or rice cooker made of any other material, taking into account not to heat it empty. Titanium is a metal that changes color at high temperatures, so if it receives a lot of heat from direct fire and/or with nothing inside, it can darken. If this happens, it is only an aesthetic change, not affecting its properties or its safety at all.

It can be washed in the normal way, even in the dishwasher, although it is recommended to wash it by hand, with a soft sponge and detergent. Titanium is a metal that generates a very light layer of almost imperceptible oxide, a kind of protective film for the metal, stable and absolutely non-toxic. If a titanium product is scratched with a sharp object or scouring pad, this outer layer is affected and a scratch is visible. This oxide layer is recreated in that area, although it cannot be seen with the naked eye, it is one of the characteristics of titanium in contact with air and that reinforces its biocompatibility.
