The drip coffee maker is designed to make filtered coffee, the healthiest way to drink coffee, since filtering the coffee retains the substance that increases cholesterol levels in the blood.

In addition, when making filtered coffee, it is advisable to use plastic-free coffee makers and non-toxic paper filters. The Trendglas Brazil coffee jug is made of glass, the safest material that exists for use in food. It is completely non- toxic and therefore one of the materials of choice for people with allergy problems.

This glass is made of borosilicate: very resistant to heat and thermal shock, withstanding temperatures between -31ºC and 450ºC. It even supports direct heating on a gas or ceramic hob and in the microwave (not suitable for induction).

The coffee maker has an elegant design with a handle and pouring spout, for comfortable serving. The conical filter, also made of borosilicate, is designed to obtain coffee in a professional way. In this new version, the filter has 3 openings made with laser technology (the laser makes a clean cut, without burrs that can cut or damage the paper filter), so the paper filter remains firm and intact during filtering and bottom of the conical filter, with a rounded shape, allows the optimal flow of coffee.

Intake mode

It is recommended that to prepare coffee you put ground coffee in a paper filter for coffee makers and this in the glass funnel. Place the funnel in the jar and pour hot water over it. Let the coffee go down.

If you want to use the jar to make infusions, you can make them by placing the jar of water on the fire and then pouring the herbs into the water. When they have infused, strain through an infusion filter.

Storage conditions

This coffee maker is very easy to clean thanks to its shape, as the glass does not absorb odors or flavours. Also suitable for cleaning in the dishwasher.
