Description
Maple syrup is a plant-based alternative to honey. It is known for the lemon juice cure or the master cleanse diet, and of course as pancake syrup. However, this sweetener is much more than that. It can be used in macrobiotic cuisine, in baking and as a base for dressings, sauces and ice creams.
Indication
Maple comes from the maple tree. Every year, this tree produces a sugary sap. In the Canadian spring we extract this sap and turn it into syrup. The difference between grade A maple syrup and grade C maple syrup? Grade A has a lighter color and is especially suitable for toppings and (pancake) desserts. You can't help but love it! Also available in 500 ml and grade C.
Intake mode
Recommended to use to replace liquid sugars, such as honey and agave syrup, 1 to 1 with maple syrup. Replace 100g of white or powdered sugar with 65ml of maple syrup.
Storage conditions
After opening, store in the refrigerator until the expiration date.
