Description
Muria Spain Chestnut Honey has a pungent and powerful woody aroma. Its sweetness is accompanied by salty peaks, and can present small bitter notes but very sweet on the palate. It goes well with vegetable dishes, hummus, cold salads and also with lamb meat.
Indication
Chestnut honey is honey collected by bees in fields where the chestnut flower (Castanea sativa) dominates. Chestnut honey is amber or very dark in color with a reddish tint.
