Description
Honey from Cana de Nostra Senyora Carme is obtained industrially through the concentration of sugarcane juice, once all impurities are eliminated, in order to preserve the beneficial active elements and the vital principles contained in this southern plant.
Indication
De la Torre was founded in 1928 when it acquired a factory where cane honey has been produced since 1630 and changed its name from Ingenio de San Raimundo to Ingenio Nuestra Señora del Carmen (according to modern standards they should be called "juice" sugar cane concentrate "instead of sugar cane honey). Since then, they have continued to produce concentrated cane juice (cane honey).
Sugarcane in Spain is only grown in a very small area of eastern Andalusia. It is obtained industrially through the concentration of sugarcane juice, once all impurities are eliminated, in order to preserve the beneficial active elements and the vital principles contained in this southern plant.
It is currently known worldwide for its excellent quality.
