Description
Psyllium Eco Cáscaras XL Pack e Energy Feelings is a soluble fiber derived from the seeds of plantago ovata also known as psyllium, an herb that is believed to originate in India although today it is found throughout the world.
Indication
Due to its excellent water solubility, psyllium can absorb liquid and become a thick, viscous compound that resists digestion in the small intestine. Its resistance to digestion allows it to facilitate the regulation of high levels of lipoproteins, triglycerides and blood sugar.
Unlike other powerful sources of fiber, psyllium is very well tolerated at the digestive level. It is called a bulking agent, because once ingested, psyllium husk expands to form a gelatinous mass that draws water from the colon. Promotes easy and healthy elimination by efficiently flushing waste from the colon. Unlike stimulant laxatives, it is mild and non-addictive.
Promotes regular intestinal transit.
It can help lower blood sugar levels. Its mucilaginous fiber helps to slow down the digestion of food, which helps regulate blood sugar levels.
Promotes satiety.
It has prebiotic effects. In other words, it has the ability to nourish and help the beneficial bacteria of the intestinal microbiota to proliferate. A portion of its fibers is fermented by some intestinal bacteria, which produces short-chain fatty acids that are linked to health benefits.
Intake mode
It is recommended to dilute in 300 cc of water, juice or liquid of preference.
Precautions
Psyllium is generally well tolerated. However, it could generate some digestive discomfort, gas or abdominal inflammation, it is also possible that it delays the absorption of certain medicines, so its consumption with medicines is not recommended, unless prescribed, it could cause certain allergic reactions in certain individuals, although rarely , such as itching, skin rashes, or breathing difficulties.
