Description
Cod is a white fish rich in protein, vitamins, especially B12, and minerals, especially phosphorus and selenium.
It is cooked in water with a little salt and, later, packed in extra virgin olive oil, so it is ready to eat. You can heat it up, if you want, but you can also eat it cold, it's great! Its flavor is very mild and its texture very tender.
It goes wonderfully with its own oil in a salad. You can also use it to prepare a quick curry with our curried pepper pastes, or explore the express version of great kitchen classics, such as brandade or esqueixada.
