Eco Tigernut Horchata

Description

Horchata Terra i Xufa is the first 100% organic UHT tiger nut horchata, made with tiger nuts grown in the Valencian orchard. Terra i Xufa is the result of the efforts of a group of organic farmers from the Huerta de Valencia.

We cultivate tiger nuts for eight months as our grandparents did without any chemical treatment. Thanks to curing, the starch of the tiger nut is transformed into natural sugars that give it the characteristic flavor of horchata made with the tiger nut grown in the Huerta de Valencia. Unlike most horchatas that we can find on the market, we do not use milk protein as a stabilizer, replacing it with organic stabilizers from vegetables. Therefore, it is a drink suitable for vegans and those who are lactose intolerant.

Indication

Terra i Xufa horchata is made with unrefined organic cane sugar, and does not contain any type of preservative or colorant. It is heart-healthy and antioxidant, due to its high content of oleic and folic acids and phytosterols, helping to maintain blood cholesterol levels. Contains 1% protein and essential amino acids such as arginine, precursor of prolactin. High content of soluble vegetable fiber, so it can prevent disorders of intestinal function, and even helps prevent colon cancer. It has a prebiotic effect, and facilitates the digestion of Carbohydrates. Rich in minerals, highlighting phosphorus, potassium, calcium, iron, magnesium, and vitamins E and C. 0% lactose, 0% gluten, 100% vegetable.

Intake mode

Terra i Xufa horchata can be consumed both hot and cold. It is an ideal substitute for other animal and vegetable milks, at breakfast or snack, and accompanying coffee or cereals. It is also an ideal ingredient to give a special touch to the kitchen. Substitute milk for Horchata in your favorite recipes, and make amazing shakes, flans, custard, biscuits, hot chocolate...
