How does Octolen work?

Octolen is a product whose main action is based on the osmotic properties of glycerol, which has two important basic characteristics:

-The oily consistency that makes it adhere smoothly to the skin and performs a protective function.

-Its hygroscopicity, which allows it to absorb water from the tissues (osmotic effect), reducing swelling and, therefore, reducing discomfort.

Lidocaine is used as an auxiliary agent for surface anesthesia, which intensifies the action and relieves ear discomfort.

Glycerol softens earwax, facilitating its removal and, thanks to its hygroscopic capabilities, removes excess fluid from the tissues of the ear canal (osmotic effect), leading to the elimination of complaints related to ear swelling conditions. ear.
