Trofolastin Scar Reducer is a polyurethane dressing made up of two layers: the outer surface is a microporous polyurethane membrane and the inner surface is an adherent acrylic film to facilitate fixation to the skin. Trofolastín Reducer de Cicatrices does not contain any active ingredient but acts through a physical mechanism that increases the pressure on the scar and modifies the humidity under the dressing producing a correct arrangement of the collagen fibers.
