Puleva Ecologica whole milk comes exclusively from organic farms, where the cows receive a healthy and natural diet from organic farming, are free to graze in open meadows and their health and well-being are taken care of. In our country, the control and certification of organic production was exercised by a state-level public body, the CRAE (Regulatory Council for Organic Agriculture). In March 1996, the powers were transferred to bodies dependent on the Autonomous Communities. In our case, this certification corresponds to the Galician Ecological Agriculture Regulatory Council. There is also an EU organic production logo that serves to complement the usual labeling and increase the visibility of this type of food and drink for consumers.
