Thyme Leaves

50 g
Store review (4.69 / 5) EXCELLENT
Thyme Leaves from the Herbarium of France is a stimulating and aperitive plant, this is why thyme tea advantageously replaces morning coffee, in combination with rose hips for example. Thyme is the plant for awakening, for boosting morale. It “encourages”, it makes it possible to fight against overwork, real or felt as such.

Indication

The residents of the city of Summer, who lived 5,000 years ago, already knew thyme. This name comes from the Egyptian “tham” (then designating a plant used to embalm the dead), taken up by the Greek “thymos” (which indicates a link with the rites of sacrifice), which became “thymus” for the Latin . In Mediterranean regions, you cannot ignore thyme. in certain regions, the ground is covered with it, you walk on it and its scent is essential. The essential oils it contains are highly bactericidal. In Latin many words are formed on the thymus root, more often in relation to the perfume than with the care (thymiama = burning perfume, incense).
