Description
Red quinoa is a very balanced source of protein and a source of fiber. Red quinoa is a different variety than white quinoa, which is just as old. It grows spontaneously in small quantities in the Réal quinoa fields and until now we have removed it from our crops to obtain a uniform creamy white seed. Today red quinoa is the object of a specific culture; its red color is located in the grain casing and the almond is white.
Intake mode
Cooking: Rinse and cook 1 volume of red quinoa in 2 volumes of water, covered, for 12 to 15 minutes, then salt.
Storage conditions
Store in a cool, dry place protected from light.
