Macadamia Virgin Terpenic Oil is obtained from the fruit of the macadamia tree (Macadamia ternifolia). The macadamia tree belongs to the Proteaceae family.
Properties and benefits of Macadamia Virgin Oil
Its fruit has a fatty oil content that ranges between 70 and 75%. Originally native to Australia, the macadamia nut tree is now grown in South Africa, Kenya, South America, and Hawaii as well.
How to apply Macadamia Virgin Oil?
It is recommended as:
Oral use
It can be included in dressings and cold sauces. Good nutritional contribution and mild flavor.
Not recommended to heat due to the degradation of its components at high temperatures.
Topical use
Especially indicated for: Very dry, rough, atopic, irritated skin. Couperosis.
The palmitoleic acid found in the skin improves the absorption of this oil, which also spreads evenly and without leaving a greasy feeling.
The fatty acid composition is similar to that of human sebum.
Not recommended for combination or oily skin or those with an acne tendency.
Very suitable for dry, rough and sensitive skin; has a regenerating and softening effect on the skin
