Inositol by Longlife is a supplement of inositol source of myo-inositol, a water-soluble vitamin of natural origin.

Properties and benefits of inositol

Inositol, also known as vitamin B7, is a compound very common in animal organisms where it forms different phospholipids, and in vegetable ones, where it is found in the form of phytic acid. Inositol plays an important role in the metabolism of lipids and LDL lipoproteins: it inhibits the accumulation of fats in the liver and participates in the construction of cell membranes and plasma lipoproteins. From a nutritional point of view, myo-inositol is the only active form of inositol and, like choline, it is a structural component of lecithin. It has important effects in reproduction, mood and blood sugar and its deficiency can contribute to hair loss and a high level of LDL lipoproteins in the blood.

How to take inositol?

It is recommended to take 1-2 tablets 2 times a day with water during meals.
