Description

Primeal's Chia Seed is a nutritional treasure with multiple uses. Its rather neutral and sweet taste facilitates its incorporation without disturbing the flavor of the food. For example, for those who do not really like the typical flavor of flax, chia presents itself as an advantageous alternative.

Indication

Chia is a species of sage (Salvia hispanica) native to Latin America. The black chia seeds are small like those of the poppy and have shades of colors ranging from more or less dark gray to light beige.

Intake mode

It is advisable to take 15g per day (2 tablespoons). 15g provide at least 100% of the daily requirements of omega 3. Sprinkle on your salads or cereals. Incorporate into your baking preparations before baking. You can also grind the seeds into flour and use it as a base for making pancakes and cookies.

By soaking them for a few hours in a cold liquid (water, fruit or vegetable juice), the chia seeds swell because the hydrophilic fibers deploy and form a gel. You can consume it as it is, incorporate it into a müesli or into a drink. The amount of liquid influences the more liquid or thicker texture of the "gel". Sprinkle on salads or cereals.
