Biotona Bio Maqui Raw or maqui powder comes from small dark mauve berries, also called "Chilean grapes", fruits of an evergreen shrub that grows only in still unspoiled regions of Patagonia, between southern Argentina and Chile. The innumerable virtues of these berries are well known by the Mapuche Indians, the only indigenous population that has survived the different invasions and occupations of their territory from the Spanish until today. It is said that its resistance is due to the large consumption of infusions of these berries.
