Description
The Probios buckwheat and apricot tart is made with buckwheat, without milk and without palm oil, guaranteed gluten-free.
Indication
The Other Cereals line offers gluten-free products based on herbaceous plants, as an alternative to corn and rice. For their use in the food sector and for their nutritional characteristics, the seeds of these plants are often incorrectly classified as cereals. This tart is made with buckwheat, a flower plant belonging to the polygonaceae family. Its origin dates back to 8,000 years ago, when it grew spontaneously in Tibet, Siberia and Manchuria. Subsequently the Tartars introduced it to the Balkans, and from here it has spread throughout Europe. The name Buckwheat (the wheat of the Turks and Saracens) is a clear homage to its Turkish-Mongolian origins.
