Description
Digestive Cookies with Oats from Santiveri, are delicious cookies without added sugar, without lactose.
Indication
To achieve a healthy product with all its flavor, the Digestive Cookies with Oats have been sweetened with maltitol. Maltitol is a polyol derived from sucrose that has a number of advantages over this sugar: it has a similar sweetening power, it provides fewer calories. Thus, we can include these cookies in the diet of people with diabetes and of all those who wish to restrict their sugar consumption (weight control diets). They contain sugars naturally present in their ingredients.
The vegetable fat composition of Digestive Oatmeal Cookies has a dietary balanced lipid profile, suitable for a healthy and balanced diet, with an oleic acid content of 7.2%, a type of monounsaturated fat characteristic of the Mediterranean diet.
Carbohydrates are the most abundant nutrients in oats. Its protein content stands out in relation to other cereals and its higher fat content, specifically in essential fatty acids, among which linoleic acid stands out. Oats are also a remarkable source of minerals: manganese, phosphorus (necessary for brain activity), calcium, magnesium, iron, zinc and sulfur (useful in skin problems and brittle nails). It also provides vitamins B1, B2 and vitamin E. These cookies have been made with whole wheat flour and supplemented with folic acid, a vitamin that is in greater demand in pregnancy, lactation, growth and the elderly.
Precautions
May contain traces of walnuts, almonds, and sesame. Excessive consumption can produce laxative effects.
