I bought it to make panellets and what a fantasy! First the texture, it is rather spreadable, like a mousse, or an olive oil, it is not liquid or creamier like a jam but rather it has consistency. Then, in terms of flavor, it tastes 100% like roasted chestnuts (roasted, not grilled!). It surprised me a lot and I'm going to spend it all this winter! I imagine it combined with goat cheese on some canapes and it has to be delicious.

Lo compré para hacer panellets y que fantasia! Primero la textura, es mas bien untable, como una mousse, o una olivada, no es liquido ni mas cremoso como una mermelada sino que tiene consistencia. Después, en cuantoa sabor, sabe 100% a castañas asadas (asadas, no a la brasa!). Me ha sorprendido un montón y voy a gastarlo todo durante este invierno!Lo imagino combinado con queso de cabra en unos canapes y esque tiene que estar delicioso.
