Description
Psyllium (Plantago Ovata) is found mostly in semi-arid areas of India. Its shells are recognized and traditionally used in Ayurvedic medicine to regulate intestinal transit. The quantity and quality of its soluble fibers give it multiple benefits that help improve and cleanse the digestive system as well as keeping the intestinal flora healthy and active.
Indication
Its fiber absorbs water, forming a gelatin that cleanses the small intestine of toxins, being an ally in purifying processes.
Intake mode
It is recommended to take on an empty stomach. Add a tablespoon of dessert to a glass of water.
If you want to better transform the fiber into gelatin, we recommend increasing the proportion of water. Psyllium is widely used as a substitute for gluten in gluten-free bread recipes.
Precautions
Start gradually. Consult a specialist in case of pregnancy, lactation and children under 3 years. It is important to follow a varied and balanced diet.
Ingredients
