Description
Khadi copper light brown vegetable dye is a formulation composed of a selection of plants following ancient Ayurvedic recipes, which seek to achieve the desired color while taking care of the hair.
Properties and benefits of Vegetable dye Light Brown
Khadi dyes do not contain mineral oxidants, preservatives, color enhancers, hydrogen peroxide, ammonia, resorcinol, animal pigments, perfumes, essential oils and are also not tested on animals. Nor do they release toxic residues into the environment and are certified by the BDIH endorsement, naturally providing strong and healthy hair, helping to cover gray hair, giving shine and softness.
How to apply Vegetable dye Light Brown?
Required: Khadi vegetable hair dye, suitably sized container, 50 ° hot water or black tea (see below for exceptions), disposable gloves, old towel to protect clothes, dye brush, shower cap or paper film, towel or turban to keep the dye warm,
Apply the dye to freshly washed and towel-dried hair.
Wash your hair first with a mild shampoo.
Mix the necessary quantity of powders with hot water at 50º or black tea until obtaining a homogeneous paste. Be careful not to inhale the dust.
You can mix the shades of pure henna, amla and jatropha with a liquid at high temperature (90 degrees), especially in the reddish shades that become more intense the hotter the temperature of the mixture.
For indigo nuances the temperature of the liquid must not exceed 50º, otherwise the color will turn reddish.
It is recommended to apply the dye with a brush. If not performed by an expert, it is suggested to maintain the optimum temperature, leave the container in a water bath. The mixture should not cool down.
Start at the root and proceed with the application longitudinally. If you divide the hair with a comb, the application will be easier. Distribute the rest of the mixture throughout the hair, massaging with your fingers. In this way, a uniform result is guaranteed throughout the hair.
Once the color is applied, put on a plastic shower cap or wrap the hair with plastic wrap so that the dye does not dry. Then wrap the hair with a towel or a turban to keep warm, the result will be much better.
The exposure time depends on personal preference and the type of hair. Fine or chemically damaged hair absorbs color faster than strong, healthy hair.
Leave the dye to work for 30 minutes (for a slight coloration) to 2 hours.
After time, rinse the hair with hot water to remove any residue until the water comes out completely clean. Avoid, if possible, washing your hair or using hair products in the next 24 hours, so that the color can be set better. Please note, the color may darken further.
Precautions
The color of the hair before coloring and the structure of the hair are two factors that determine the final result.
It is always recommended to test the dye on a lock to avoid unexpected surprises.
Remove the powder from the vegetable dye with hot water to form a more or less homogeneous paste.
If you want to use indigo also in the pasta, make sure that the water is at 50º C.
The pasta should not be cooled or dried.
Apply the paste to a strand of clean, towel-dried hair. Keep hair warm.
The longer the exposure time and the higher the temperature, the color will be more intense.
The dye can be left on for a minimum of 30 min up to 2 hours, depending on the structure of the hair and the desired color result.
